Established in 1980, Seminole Lake Rotary has been serving Seminole, surrounding communities, and international communities in volunteer and service projects. Members of the Rotary Club of Seminole Lake are business professionals in our community and widely recognized for their service work both locally and globally. We meet Fridays 7:15-8:15am at the Brown Boxer in Madeira Beach.
The Object of Rotary
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
- The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
- High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarians occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
- The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarians personal business, and community life;
- The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
As part of its work in the local community, Seminole Lake Rotary has partnered with community leaders to understand the needs of the community and get the greatest possible benefit from our efforts. Here are some testimonials from two of our local partners.
